The HSE continues the project ‘HSE. Basis’, which covers the history of the buildings the university occupies today. The second article is about Building 3 on Bolshoy Tryokhsvyatitelsky Pereulok. The main story about this place begins not in the distant time when it was owned by merchants (although it certainly was) but in the 1930s when the construction of a new institute began.
Winners of Faculty of Design Competition Announced
The design competition held by HSE’s Faculty of Design has concluded. The competition is a supplementary test necessary for admission into the Faculty’s bachelor’s programme. Applicants’ work was evaluated by a selection committee consisting of well-known designers, including those from the Faculty itself and specialists invited to participate on the committee.

The New Harvest Slows Down Inflation
