In Russia according to changes in the Federal Law on Education approved two years ago and coming into effect with the start of the new academic year, the majority of universities will be enrolling students into Bachelor's and Master's programs instead of traditional five-year courses . Banks toxic assets issue
Toxic assets problem in the banks is comprehensively discussed in Russia. "Russia does not have a major toxic asset problem in the banks. Russian banks were not really involved in buying these derivative securities," Martin Gilman, Professor at the Higher School of Economics, said.
